Forest fires break out in southern Paraguay's capital Asuncion
In the early morning of January 11, local time, a forest fire broke out in the southern area of Asuncion, the capital of Paraguay. The fire area covered 2,000 hectares in one day. The nearby fire department urgently dispatched manpower to the scene to put out the fire. After 8 hours of fighting, the fire was basically controlled.
