The Passover points to the messiah as our Passover lamb whose life would be shed for our sins, deliverance from slavery, and Amazing transformation.

The Passover Lamb in Exodus 12:1-13 is one of the Greatest Illustrations of Christ and our salvation.From that day forward every Jewish family would select a lamb and raise it through the year for the coming Passover.

The lamb became a pet to the family. Every year they would slay it and it brought much heartache to the children and even to the parents.

Jesus all of his life for 30 years had a lamb that he would present knowing that someday HE would be the LAMB that would be offered up for the Salvation of humanity.
