[4K CEBU 🇵🇭] CEBU CITY SPORTS CENTER | Formerly Abellana Sports Complex | Walking Tour | PH

Formerly known as the Abellana Sports Complex, the Cebu City Sports Center is a track and field and football stadium located in Cebu City, Philippines. The city constructed the complex to serve as the primary location for the 1994 Palarong Pambansa and to host large-scale events of many types.

The sports center has inspired many Cebuanos to participate in sports and live a healthier lifestyle. The Sports Complex includes the following amenities: rubberization of the Abellana Oval, consisting of 400 meters of world-class material and specifications; a stadium that can hold 12,000 to 15,000 people; a 50-meter by 25-meter swimming pool with ten lanes; a 15-meter by 10-meter warm-up pool, a gymnasium, ballroom, workout area, and multipurpose rooms for various indoor sports and games. It has also become the site of Cebu's Sinulog celebration, which takes place every third Sunday of January.
