2020 Can finally confirm faction mods kinda work

Si found a smuggler in creative mode testing a new ship and found a republic era ( empire) ship and a galactic empire ship but i also saw a NON faction ship they had ...so thats two factions being hosed into one with a non faction so no idea if modding that is intended.
