The former headquarters of the brutal, sick, nationalist Tornado battalion

In the basement of a school in Privolye, northwest of Lisichansk, villagers rounded up off the streets were taken to be interrogated, tortured, or worse. Only some returned. The school, once a place where young children learned, was taken over by the infamous Tornado Battalion. The group was forcefully disbanded in 2015 and the kingpins sent to prison, but the legacy lives long in memory. Mobile phones recovered from the improvised torture chambers showed orgies of rape and violence amongst the horrors. RT's Murad Gazdiev visits Privolye, conducts a tour of the former headquarters, and interviews some of the villagers that were terrorized.
