Ark Extinction - Forest Cave, how to find the cave and collecting the Artifact of Growth w/a giga

The Forest Cave of Extinction is where the Artifact of Growth can be found. There are 7 spawn points for loot crates. This walk through does not include the "secret" chamber of the cave.

There are a lot of creatures in the cave. These include: Baryonyx, Arthropleura, Terror Birds, Therizinosaurs, Microraptors, Kaprosuchus, Dilophosaurs, Megalosaurus, and Purlovia, all which will not aggro onto a giga unless hit, (they will aggro on the player if dismounted). There are also Allosaurus, T-Rexs, Yutyrannus, and Carnotaurus that WILL aggro onto a giga. As always, beware the Purlovia as if they are buried at an angle or higher than ground level they can stun and dismount you if aggroed, even on a giga.
