Pride comes before the Fall - David sews seeds for family confusion

2 Samuel 5:12 And David perceived that the LORD had established him king over Israel, and that he had exalted his kingdom for his people Israel's sake.
A. Spiritual Perception - David had partial revelation, partial knowledge.
B. Established - He understood God established him as King.
C. He recognized that it is the Choice of our Father in heaven to exalt David, gave him the promotion for Israel's Sake, the children of God.
2 Samuel 5:13 And David took him more concubines and wives out of Jerusalem, after he was come from Hebron: and there were yet sons and daughters born to David.
A. Concubines - David wanted women to be around, David wanted concubines.
B. Polygamy - David married one than one wife, he wanted multiple wives.
C. David had children from more than one wife.
D, Without knowing it, David has sewn the seeds for Confusion. Among his sons and daughters.
E. Confusion would indeed follow David's family.
F. Some men and women of God have made the mistake of trying to be too much like David.
G. Trouble was soon to follow.
