The MPD-CS2-861.60AB-DE0-Z-2.D08-M2 from Larson Electronics is a Portable Spider Box for indoor, outdoor, and rugged applications. This unit allows operators to use 480 V Delta power via a 30' line-in cord. The device is equipped with two, 30-amp output receptacles for equipment. For robust protection, the safety yellow spider box is NEMA 3R rated and protected by impact/flame resistant weatherproof covers.

This portable spider box has a 30' #4/4 AWG Type SOOW Cord terminated in a 60A 3Ø + PE UL 1686 Style II pin & sleeve male plug that is compatible with Arktite & Versamate receptacles for bringing power into the unit. The device supports two 60-amp 3-pole 480 V molded case circuit breakers protecting two 30-amp DSN30 63-34043 Meltric receptacles. The MPD-CS2-861.60AB-DE0-Z-2.D08-M2 spider box features short circuit, overload, open neutral, and reverse phasing protection. Should circuit overload occur, the unit will automatically shut down to protect the spider box from damage.

Two angled black legs at the base of the unit and low center of gravity ensures this spider box does not tip over in the field.
