Vidicraft: The Play-Right or Play-Wrong?! vs Macrovision using DVD-R and DVD+R Recorders.

The Vidicraft Play-Right was marketed as a "Digital Video Stabilizer", but what it really does is remove the white pulse signals embedded in the vertical blanking interval on Macrovision encoded VHS tapes. I compare the results with the RXII digital video stabilizer.

This device prevents problems with auto-gain control when making dubs of videotape, but will it work with DVD recorders, including one that would only work with "DVD+R" media? The Play-Right removes white pulse signals from a video signal, but will it remove ALL traces of Macrovision so DVD recorders, manufactured long after the Vidicraft unit, will dub commercially produced discs?
