In this video, I introduce you to a very useful App called Blue Letter Bible.
It helps you check the original Hebrew & Greek text of your Bible.
I show you a very useful tool on it.

Matthew 16:18
And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

Many people think this means that the Church is based on Peter, the Apostle.
But the Bible says Peter was sent to the Jews. Gal 2:7,8
Also, it did not fit what I understood about Jesus so I check BLB
Everywhere Petra was used it was clearly Jesus or a huge rock!
But where Petros was used, it was Peter.

Conclusion: Matthew 16:18 using Petros and Petra.
And I also say to you that you are Petros, and on this Petra I will build My Church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. The Ekklesia is built on Jesus, not Peter!
No confusion now.
