In Rant #4 I give a brief review of the new cover song by my friends in the band Splinter 26, their awesome remake of the 1967 classic Jefferson Airplane hit White Rabbit!

Splinter 26 consists of Debra Criveau (Dee Cee) on vocals, Brian Criveau on the drums and all audio production, Joe Verdi on the bass for this tune, Ced Duenow on rhythm guitar, artwork and promo, and this time around, Special Guest Artist Ray Scott of Jupiter's Eye on the lead guitar, lending a killer lead track, vibe and feel to this.

Splinter 26 did a knockout job on this cover, really staying true to the original flavor of this classic song and a great job on the audio production end to make it sound authentic. Deb's vocals really solidify the package, and the guitar work is stellar here. Add to that a very tight rhythm sections, and this cover song is a winner!

Also, as the song dropped on 4/20, it keeps in tune to the movement going on around the time Airplane did their original track; love, anti-war sentiments, experimentation with recreational drugs, and peace.

So go ahead and follow Alice down the rabbit hole and enjoy the classic vibe of Splinter 26 with Ray Scott doing a fantastic job with this cover song!
