SEIDENFADENIA MITRATA - Off the Mount & into a Pot! WHY?

1

Find out why I decided to take my #Seidenfadeniamitrata off it's make shift mount. Living in a #mediterranean climate is wonderful, but it comes with it's own set of challenges for some species. Lack of humidity is one of those challenges. So, in order to give this orchid an opportunity to grow better, I have decided to try the leca with self watering set up. I would love to hear your opinion on my decision. Feel free to leave me a comment if you have any doubts regarding my intentions, and should you have any cultural recommendations, I would be thankful to read about them.
