I want to play this clip of Eric Swalwell. again with this point. This is clip number two. this point that the right is lying about and have been lying for years about this thing. because they know fundamentally no pun intended, yeah right, that the vast majority of the country does not subscribe to their Christian fundamentalist worldview. that we don't. We don't want to live this way. and The imposition of their religious values on all of us is going to get more extreme and worse. it's just a and I'm not even sure what we're going to be able to do to stop it at this point. but the floodgates are open. Once Roe v Wade passes the floodgates were open. and here is how they are trying to reconcile it when they're being questioned directly. they pretend like 10-year-olds don't get raped and don't need abortions. they pretend that well maybe it's not even abortion if we think it's okay. Here is the best example of how you know this is not even about a principle of life or not life. I mean we already know it's not about life. or even innocent life versus non-innocent life. right? because they have no problem with capital punishment. they have no problem with danger to the mother. right. but here's how you can see that it doesn't even have anything to do with any of that. it has to do with just the religious values they want to impose. Here is this: the house judiciary committee hearing representative Eric Swalwell is questioning Catherine Glenn Foster, the president and CEO of Americans United for life. here we go. listen to this. back Mrs. Swalwell. Thank you. miss foster you think a 10-year-old would choose to carry? in the 10-year-old case, first of all, Ohio. The question is would a 10-year-old choose to carry a baby. in the Ohio case, the Ohio attorney general said that an abortion would have been justified. focus on the question, please. Would a ten-year-old choose to carry a baby? I cannot think a ten-year-old should choose to carry a baby? I believe it would probably impact her life. and so therefore it would fall under any exception and would not be an abortion. wait. it would not be an abortion if a ten-year-old with her parents made the decision not to have a baby that was a result of a rape? if a ten-year-old became pregnant as a result of rape? and it was threatening her life then that's not an abortion. so it would not fall under any abortion restriction. In our nation miss war bolo, are you familiar with disinformation? Yes, I am. Did you just hear some disinformation? I guess I heard some very significant disinformation. why don't you tell me about that?
