James Morrow says why is it that when people enter the confines of a legislative assembly, they seem to “forget all definitions of biology”.
Republican Senator Josh Hawley was labelled transphobic during a Senate Judiciary hearing this week by Berkeley law professor Khiara Bridges, after he asked whether the phrase “people with the capacity for pregnancy” referred to women.
Mr Morrow discussed the incident with Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“That entire exchange was illuminating,” she said.
