Some scholars, such as John Dominic Crossan have asserted that when the early Christians said "Christ is Risen," they did not intend to communicate Jesus had been raised bodily from the dead. Instead they used "resurrection" as a metaphor for Jesus's influence, which could still be felt. But is this really what the early Christians were claiming? In this short video, Dr. Licona gives one reason why Dr. Crossan and others cannot be correct.
