SPIRITUALITY & SEXUALITY - The Seven Sermons of Carl Jung

Sermon 5 focuses on the symbolism of Sexuality and Spirituality, the two ends of the Gods (Libido) from the previous sermon.

While Sermon 5 is rich in symbolism, I attempt to grasp the essence Jung is pointing us towards. While it is invisible, psychic energy has a force outside EGO awareness which influences the subject.

This force is split into sexuality and spirituality, relating to opposing masculine and feminine energies within all.

In addition, Jung offers some concluding thoughts on the idea of singleness and community...as both are essential for individuation and wholeness.
