Hebrews 9:28
“So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time,
not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.”

2 Peter 3:13

13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

Hebrews 9:26-28

26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Revelation 1:7

“Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him,
and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.”

Acts 1:10-11

“And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”

Acts 17:31

“Because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.”

John 14:

1“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe in Me as well.

2 In My Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and welcome you into My presence,
so that you also may be where I am.

4 You know the way to the place where I am going.

The Way, the Truth, and the Life

5“Lord,” said Thomas, “we do not know where You are going, so how can we know the way?”

6 Jesus answered,
“I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through Me.

7 If you had known Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.”

8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.”

9 Jesus replied, “Philip, I have been with you all this time, and still you do not know Me?
Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you,
I do not speak on My own. Instead, it is the Father dwelling in Me, performing His works.

11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me—or at least believe on account of the works themselves.

12 Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I am doing.
He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

13 And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If you ask Med for anything in My name, I will do it.

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

15 If you love Me, you will keepe My commandments.

16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocatef to be with you forever—

17 the Spirit of truth.
The world cannot receive Him,
because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and will be in you.

18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.

19In a little while the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you also will live.

20 On that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you.

21 Whoever has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me.
The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him.”

22 Judas (not Iscariot) asked Him, “Lord, why are You going to reveal Yourself to us and not to the world?”

23 Jesus replied, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word. My Father will love him,
and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

24 Whoever does not love Me does not keep My words. The word that you hear is not My own, but it is from the Father who sent Me.

25 All this I have spoken to you while I am still with you.

26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you.

27Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid.

28 You heard Me say, ‘I am going away, and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I.

29And now I have told you before it happens, so that when it does happen, you will believe.

30 I will not speak with you much longer, for the prince of this world is coming, and he has no claim on Me.

31But I do exactly what the Father has commanded Me, so that the world may know that I love the Father.

Luke 17:20

And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come,
he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

Luke 16:16

The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

Daniel 2:44

And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom,
which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people,
but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

The greek word for sign is parasouia which means presence so Matthew chapter 24
you will see the sign of the coming of the son of man in the clouds" or his presence.
This verse is popularly used to promote a literal physical coming of Jesus, for it seems to be saying he would be seen by the natural eyesight. However,
there are several aspects to this verse that are not immediately apparent to someone who is unfamiliar with the scriptures and Hebrew thought.
The First thing to consider was the appearance of- not the Son of Man- but the sign of the Son of Man in Heaven.
And event occurring in the visible Natural realm that indicates a greater and more significant event in the Unseen Spiritual realm. Earthly manifestations of events that happened in Heaven.
Next where was the sign to occur? At first glance it seems the sign would be in Heaven.
However, we need to look a bit closer. There are two ways of looking at this. The sign would be in Heaven
(the unseen Spiritual realm)
and it would be the sign of the Son of Man or The sign would be on earth ( the visible Natural realm)
and would indicate that the Son of Man is in Heaven ( in the unseen Spiritual realm.
I believe the sign was manifested on the earth.

I believe that the sign was an event occurring in the visible Natural realm (Earth) that indicated a greater and more significant event in the Unseen Realm
(Heaven).

2 Cor 4:18
says " we look not at the things which are seen but at the things which are not seen..
the things which are not seen are eternal.
This we need to understand that Jesus was not to return in a physical body,
to be seen with the natural eye sight. He had gone into the realm of the unseen at his ascension,
and he would come again in the same unseen realm.
Because the modern church has focused on the parable of the coming of the Son of Man,
it has missed the reality of His coming in the Spirit.
They look for the parable for a sign,
when the reality has already happened.
The kingdom of God exists in the realm of the Spirit,
however most Christians have a fleshly or natural understanding of the kingdom ,and the teachings of Christ Jesus.
Jesus said to his Disciples,
" Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:
That seeing they may see,
and not perceive: and hearing they may hear and not understand

( Mark 4:11-12).
Jesus here unequivocally stayed that the kingdom of God is a mystery. It is a spiritual concept that is foreign to those who are without or outside of the Spirit realm.

Many fail to realize that Jesus teachings were in parables, and the scriptures on a whole are written in parables or signs.
This is because the Scriptures need to be understood in the Spirit.

The scripture speaks of the unseen realities, which are coded in symbols taken from the natural realm.

Ezekiel 12 21

Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

22“Son of man, what is this proverb that you have in the land of Israel:

‘The days go by, and every vision fails’?

23Therefore tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will put an end to this proverb, and in Israel they will no longer recite it.’

But say to them: ‘The days are at hand when every vision will be fulfilled.

24For there will be no more false visions or flattering divinations within the house of Israel,

25because I, the LORD, will speak whatever word I speak, and it will be fulfilled without delay.
For in your days, O rebellious house, I will speak a message and bring it to pass, declares the Lord GOD.’ ”

26Furthermore, the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 27“Son of man, take note that the house of Israel is saying, ‘The vision that he sees is for many years from now; he prophesies about the distant future.’

28Therefore tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘None of My words will be delayed any longer.
The message I speak will be fulfilled, declares the Lord GOD.’ ”

The Lord has put all his enemies under his feet, The last enemy to be destroyed was death.

1 Corinthians 15

Now, brothers and sisters,
I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand.

2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

The Resurrection of the Dead

12 But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

13 If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised.

14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.

15 More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead.
But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised.

16 For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either.

17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.

18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost.

19 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.

20 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.

22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.

23 But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.

24 Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.

25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.

26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

27 For he “has put everything under his feet.”
Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ.

28 When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all

John 20:19-30

Jesus Appears to His Disciples

19 On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together,
with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”

20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.

21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”

22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”

Jesus Appears to Thomas

24 Now Thomas (also known as Didymus[a]), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came.

25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!”

But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”

27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”

29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Isaiah 45:17

But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

“But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep,
that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so,
through Jesus,
God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.

For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord,
will not precede those who have fallen asleep.
For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.”

John 6:39-40

“And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me,
but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”

1 John 3:2-3

“Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared;
but we know that when he appears we shall be like him,
because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.”

Mark 14:62

“And Jesus said, ‘I am, and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.’”

Matthew 24:3-14

“As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying,
“Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying,
‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars.
See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place,
but the end is not yet.
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.

8 All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake.
And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.
And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased,
the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
