in this video we will show how to add an isolation tranformer to a series filament "widowmaker" amplifier - a vintage 1961 Danelectro Cadet Model 122. This same procedure will work on pretty much any vintage guitar amp of this type. These amps have no power transformer so in order to improve safety, some things need to change. We'll explore those changes and check out the tone with a demo at the end. The guitars used are a BigD Guitars Bourbon Barrell Telecaster and a PRS CE24.
