Orchids are not exactly known for 'growing like weeds'... BUT Encyclia graciana Alba stands out for precisely that reason. It is a warm grower, but can tolerate temperatures as low as 12ºC. However, the two real characteristics that make this orchid worthwhile are, a) it grows very quickly, developing into a specimen plant in a very short period of time & b) the individual blooms last up to 3 months, while it keeps producing more blooms on other growths.
