The assault detachments overcame the security zone of the Seversky garrison of the V.S.U. and completed the creation of conditions for the encirclement of the city.

The command decided not to storm the central districts of the city, but to create another cauldron for Ukrainian militants. There is still a lot of work to complete the encirclement, but strong artillery preparation is already underway to close the cauldron around the city.
