Military coup in Sudan, China clarifies its position

On October 25, a military coup took place in the African country of Sudan.
The Sudanese Armed Forces placed the Prime Minister of the Transitional Government under house arrest. In an interview with the media, Sudanese Ambassador to China Jaafar congratulated China on the 50th anniversary of China's restoration of its legitimate seat in the United Nations, and firmly stated that "Sudan will always stand with China".
