Typically Vince is on public land in the Blue Ridge Mountains of his home state, or in Ohio, either scouting for deer sign, or hunting over the best sign. On today's video Vince is going to test his bow's noise level, and show you how to correlate this to normal decibel levels, and make the necessary improvements to help prevent your bow's noise from getting to the deer. In Part 1 Vince explained the phenomenon of The Speed Of Sound, and how it relates to a bow hunter. Gun hunters don't have to be concerned with The Speed of Sound, because a bullet travels much faster and the deer doesn't have time to react to the shot. However, with bow hunters this is completed different! Most often sound gets to the deer 3 to 4 times faster than the arrow. This gives the deer an edge in being able to react to this unnatural sound from the bow, and potentially duck the arrow. This video will explain the relationship between speed, sound and The Speed of Sound to bow hunting. and help the hunter understand the importance of reducing bow noise. to prevent spooking the deer. As a hunter you will understand how this relationship can be improved, and with this video series, learn new strategies to give you the edge when Whitetail Deer hunting with a bow and arrow! Watch and enjoy this second episode from 1-Shot Hunting.
