BIOGRAPHY OF MRS EMILLIA(Coacher, Ijere Nwanyi) ODIKA (Nee Okereke)
Mrs. Emilia Chinenyenwa Odika was born in the year 1962 as the only daughter in the mix of seven boys of her Late mother, Mrs Comfort Okereke who was married to Late Chief Lawrence Okereke who retired as a Major in the Nigerian Army. Chief Lawrence hails from Orsu in Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State. Her Father was a renowned soldier during his service in the Nigeria Army, her obedience to her parents made her a resourceful personnel in the family. After her secondary career, she proceeded to Bulgaria where she was trained as a professional in Lawn Tennis and other Sports skills acquisition for a period of two years.
When she returned fro Bulgaria, she got married to Chief Raymond Odika and fortunately, she got employed at the old Anambra State Sport council, now Enugu State Sports Council. She held the post of Director Racket Games in Enugu State. She was fruitfully blessed with two boys. She was a very industrious, patient, loving and a kind woman who had a positive outlook to life. She left behind the legacy of humility to us, never to retaliate or bear grudge and to always forgive one another. She also taught us that trusting in God at all time is the ultimate. This mantra guided us to maturity from our formative years till date.
Ezinne, Ijere Nwanyi go in peace, you lived a life worthy of emulation. Your love and peaceful service to mankind in various position and groups you found yourself made St. Cyprian's Anglican Church Abakpa Nike, Enugu to honor you with Guild & Christian Mother title.
May God Almighty keep you in his bosom until we meet again.
Adieu Ijere Nwanyi
Adieu Coacher
Adieu our lovely mother!
Chief Raymond Odika (for the family)

A TRIBUTE TO MY DEARLY BELOVED LOVING WIFE
There are simply no words to capture what you meant to me or convey the full weight of my grief over your passing away. When I met you many years ago I knew at once that i had struck gold and I know many men have wonderful wives but no one has had a better one than I. You were simply amazing and I am grateful for every minute we stayed together.
We shared a friendship, a bond that no one else an understand, together we fought any battles. You were humble, God fearing, faithful, efficient, virtuous, fearless and had the largest heart to even accommodate both family and strangers.
You were my everything, my happiest times were the ones spent with you. You gave me the experience of being understood, truly supported and utterly loved me. When I was worried, you said it would be ok, when I wasn't sure of what to do, you figured it out, when things were difficult you were a pillar, and even there on your sick bed, you reassured me that everything would be okay.
I remember fondly those long hours I would wait for you to be back from work and gist me on how your day went, I shall never forget the laughter, the gist and plans we had. I miss your presence, your companionship and your care, you cared for me like I was a baby but of cause I was your baby love.
At last, my love could not save you, we fought long and though that you did not want to die and I did not want to let go either, but God thought your work here was done and decided to call you to himself.
However, I am consoled by the fact that we have buried only your body. Your spirit, your beautiful soul, your uncommon ability to calm the storm is still with us. You live on in the stories of those who knew who you were and they are sharing how you touched their lives, you live in the memories of our families who you touched most closely. Things will never be the same for us yes, but we all have been made better because you were in our lives.
I assure you that i will be strong for the boys, and together we shall make you proud. i know you are at Gods right hand because you served him fervently.
Keep on resting in Gods bosom till we meet to part no more my love.
Farewell my beloved
Rest on my prayer warrior
Adieu Ijele Nwanyi m, Adieu Ezigbo Nwunye m.
Your Husband
