OGA-AGA-AGWU-AGWU 2020

Oga-Aga-Agwu-Agwu is one of the most celebrated event in Achi. Achi is a town located in Oji-River Local Government Area (L.G.A) of Enugu State. Interestingly, it is the largest town within the Local Government Area.

Achi is made up of twelve (12) villages ('Isii n'ulo Isii n'agu') namely Adu, Agbadala, Ahani, Akwu, Amaetiti, Amankpunator, Egwu, Ehuhe, Enugu Achi, Ihe, Isikwe, and Nkpokolo. Isikwe happens to be the most popular.

Achi is bounded by different villages, which include Awgwu-nta, Awlaw, Inyi, Mmaku, Udi, Ugwuoba e.t.c
The Oga-Aga-Agwu-Agwu festival is very famous, held once within a three year interval. It is specially organised to remind the natives of their massive strength when they come, reason and act together.
It is a fun filled event with various performances, as well as coronations, designed to pursue economic advancement in the town.
