Polk Residence & A Civil War Battleground! Columbia & Spring Hill, Tennessee.

In this episode we check out the Polk residence in Columbia Tennessee. This is where the future 11th President resided from 1819 until 1824. It was a Sunday when I visited so of course they were closed. After that we take a short drive to Spring Hill, Tennessee to check out where the Battle of Spring Hill during the Civil War occurred on November 29, 1864.
