I bought my BMW 330e plug in hybrid the middle of 2020 after my 10 year old Toyota Scion died on me on the side of the interstate. I have very much enjoyed the BMW, but I found it did not really fit my lifestyle. Upon recommendation of a friend, and after a lot of "research" on youtube, I decided to go with the Subaru Outback around the end of March 2022. I ended up getting a 2016 in the limited edition trim. The leather seats in my BMW spoiled me and I don't think I can ever go back to cloth haha! The limited edition trim has leather seats. This video goes over the negatives of the BMW and the specific reasons why I think the Subaru Outback is the best car for the homestead.
