Today we read about God's command to totally destroy those that the Lord hands over to the Israelites and His warning about intermarrying with these nations. The psalm is about the Lord and David and the promise made to David. Peter continues about the relationship between wives and husbands along with suffering for doing good. Peter gives in instruction on attitude and how to carry oneself.
