Out on the remote rolling sand plains near the Cimarron River, west of Elkhart, KS, is the meeting point of three states. There are no mountains in sight, only rolling plains.

The tri-point is marked very well on the north side of the gravel road (state line rd), which runs due west from Elkhart, KS.
