WITHOUT LOVE, WE’RE USELESS!!!

1 Corinthians 13:1-2 King James Version
13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

GOOD EVENING IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF YESHUA GANG!!!

I have to say guys, that no matter how many times I've read this passage of scripture, God always shows me something precious and new from it, and today was no different. That without love, we can't achieve the true purpose that God has for us. I think This is why the questions from this morning's devotional very much challenged my heart, and I'd like to share them with you tonight. They got me to thinking about a lot of things I've experienced in this area, and I pray that when you read these questions they will challenge you as well.
When have you experienced love being a missing ingredient?

I had to really think about this question guys, because this involves moments in which people interact with you, give advice, offer “constructive criticism”, but it's done in a cold-hearted fashion. That to me is the perfect example of love being a missing ingredient.

What is an example where love was integral?

In this, I thought about all the wonderful people who have been an encouragement to me, especially those who helped me through some very severe moments in my life. I also thought about the loving kindness of complete strangers who helped Ricky and I last July after the flood that occurred, and realize this is where love was integral!

What I'd like to do right now guys is share some things that God put on my heart concerning what love is all about, through this vlog I'd like to share with you tonight. It's some of my thoughts about this passage of scripture, and I pray that it challenges you to show Christ’s love and compassion to everyone you encounter. So, as I close this post for tonight, I want to challenge you to think of how you interact with others, how you use your spiritual gifts, abilities, and talents to serve God, and I pray that you are using them to genuinely serve God and not yourself. That you were using your gifts, abilities, and talents, to bring glory and honor to God, showing love and compassion to those that you encounter. We need to remember that God's design and every situation calls for love, because without it, we're like that table that's missing a leg, that puzzle that's missing that final piece. Useless! I pray especially that we learn to pattern ourselves after the love that Christ shows us, and ask God to help us learn to love more like Him every day!
