The cost of alcohol comes up all the time, but it’s not a great motivating factor in creating the necessary motivations to stop, at least up until a point. Most people don’t put a price tag on their habits. A user will find a way to use. With alcohol being legal, there’s almost always a way of finding cheaper hooch. I used to work, not just for my habit, but only until I was comfortable enough to be lazy about my habit. But the real financial damage is done on the outside of what it costs you on a day to day basis. It's only when you leave the "drinkers mind" behind that you start to comprehend the real financial cost of drinking alcohol.
