Heinz Karl Schwebel holds a PhD in Music from the Catholic University of America, Washington D.C and a Master's in Music from the New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, having, in both courses, been supervised by Prof. Charles Schlueter, first Trumpet of the Boston Symphony. He holds a BA in Instrument from UFBA, where he studied with his father, Prof. Horst Karl Schwebel.

Heinz Karl Schwebel é Doutor em Música pela Catholic University of América, Washington D.C e Mestre em Música pelo New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, tendo, em ambos os cursos, sido orientado pelo Prof. Charles Schlueter, primeiro Trompete da Sinfônica de Boston. Ele é Bacharel em Instrumento pela UFBA, onde estudou com seu pai, o Prof. Horst Karl Schwebel.
