Quake Remastered Online Deathmatch (PC) Gameplay Sample
This is only my second time ever playing the original Quake online, so forgive my suckage. I recognize this map from when I used to play Quake II online. Was this always a Quake 1 map?
The remake allows cross platform support. I'm not sure if that means console vs PC, or the GoG version vs Steam. Perhaps someone can enlighten me.
If you have the steam version of Quake this remaster is a free upgrade, if not, consider picking it up for the PC and consoles. It's low priced, and really well done.
Just a quick question for Quake 1 vets, how do you jump up stairs smoothly in this game? If you can see, I'm struggling with it. In Quake 2, it's an easy affair, but Quake 1, as you can see, I seem to bounce off the next step, and cant vault up the stairs. Also, it seems like people are against jumping, and bunny hopping in the few games I have played online. I have no idea why, that's just part of the game.
NOTE: If you're going to shoot me with a rocket, I'm gonna try and get as close to you as possible so we both go. You ain't taking me down that easily sucka!
