Unreal (PC) Gameplay Sample

I apologize if this footage is a bit janky in parts, I recorded this footage off my Windows XP Rig using Fraps, and if you remember Fraps, to call it a resource hog isn't fair to other resource hogs. It bogged down your system, and had huge file sizes.

That being said, I love the original Unreal. I love it's gothic/scifi atmosphere. This definitely has the best atmosphere in the entire series, and it's a very well-made FPS that doesn't get nearly as much love as it should. I love Quake, and it, rightfully, gets a ton of attention for vintage FPS gaming, but Unreal was also a great effort, and a competitor to Quake II back in the day for the FPS crown. Great game overall, but a product of it's time, that is, the pre-Half-Life era in FPS gaming.

Note: No 3DFX Glide to be seen in this footage. My XP rig is running a Radeon HD GPU. Good enough for later XP games, and older ones as well.
