Inversion (PS3) Gameplay Sample

Also on the 360, and PC, Inversion is a pretty blatant Gears of War clone, amongst a sea of GoW clones in the 7th generation. It's a solid experience, but kinda forgettable overall. It does throw a gravity gun type twist on the formula, which is interesting, but far from revolutionary. Not a bad game by any means, but nothing you haven't already played. If you are a fan of GoW, and like Duck n' cover shooters, it's worth a playthrough.

This comes from the same team as Timeshift, and while, I really like Timeshift, Inversion is decent. There's nothing completely broken or wrong with the game, but there's nothing that outshines other similar games either. The gravity suit is a nice twist on the formula, but not a revolutionary twist. Overall, this is a solid game, if unspectacular.
