Ford spits out B24 four engine heavy Bombers at an amazing pace. Ford started building the largest assembly line plant in the world to assemble the bombers on April 18, 1941. Built the entire plant and had the first plane come off the assembly line on Sept 10, 1942 – just 17 months later.
