I love this game. This is one of the earliest PC games I ever owned, and I remember really wanting to play it after reading a review for it in Gamepro Magazine in 1997. I didn't get it till many years later when I finally got my own PC, and saw it for $10 at Walmart, but man, it did not disappoint. I still own the physical copy I bought so many years ago, but I am playing the version I also bought off of Steam for this footage, because I haven't been able to run the disk version of the game on anything newer than Windows XP. I've also never played this game with 3D acceleration, so old Voodoo fanboys will grimace at this software rendering, but, alas, even my old Radeon 9000 was too new to support it.

While Star Wars games on consoles in the 90's were sort of hit or miss (a few good exceptions), the PC was getting amazing Star Wars games to satiate the appetites of fans. The 90's were a great time to be a Star Wars fan if you were a PC gamer.

Is anyone else saddened over the fact that Kyle Katarn, while never an official character, no longer gets to exist? I have no doubt that we will never get an official remaster to this game, because Disney certainly doesn't care much for the Star Wars franchise, let alone the vintage/retro games that were produced.
