Soldier of Fortune: Payback (Xbox 360) Gameplay Sample

Since it's been about 14 years since I last uploaded footage for SoF:Payback, I thought some newer footage was warranted. I like this game, and I always have. It's not spectacular in any way, nor is it close to being the best game in the SoF series, or even close to one of the best F games of it's generation, but I like the simple, arcadey fun. Again, while not a great F game, it is certainly a lot better than the reviews for it would have you believe. This was released after Modern Warfare, and the general opinion of that day was "everything should be MW," meaning, this game got dumped on.

I do understand why fans of the series hated it, but I still always enjoy my time with this game. It has some obvious framerate and control issues (the aiming sucks), but overall, despite it's flaws, I like it's simplistic, arcadey fun. It's not trying to tell a visual story, because, who cares, and it's not trying to be Modern Warfare either, just simple, arcadey gore-fest.
