Another real life, land management project! Trying to save cash and be as safe as possible at the same time; How to take down a widow maker tree with my bobcat e42 r2 series mini excavator. Join us for today's land management episode as I take down a widow maker dead tree that is close to our house, that I have been dreading for the last 2 years! Today we've decided to tackle this big dead pine tree (aka a widow maker), as we've been fearing that with every storm it might come down on our beautiful Southern Illinois country home! Every time it storms and the winds kick up, I keep wondering when it is going to come down on our house! Today I will tackle this widow maker in a slow, and methodical method to maximize taking it down exactly where I want it to fall, and doing it as safe as possible. Of course my bobcat e42 R2 series mini excavator is really the game changer in this widow maker tree episode.
