Day 159 of Let's Read the Bible - Deuteronomy 6, Psalm 131, 1 Peter 2

Today we read about how the Israelites must love the Lord and follow His commands and decrees to live a long life in the land He is giving them. The psalm is about being contented with what the Lord gives and finding peace in God. Peter continues his letter by describing Christ as the stone no builder wanted and becoming the cornerstone. He also describes how to live holy lives in a pagan society.
