Living all his life in Poland with his father, at 14 years old, Sebastian finally had the amazing opportunity to live with his mum, in the United Kingdom. As you can imagine, Agneska was smitten with having her son move in with her. And I can just see Sebastian being ecstatic to spend the rest of his teenage years and grow into a young adult in a country of so many possibilities. Most likely, Sebastian’s dad, although heartbroken letting go of his little boy, he wanted to make sure his son would have a brilliant future ahead in a place filled with adventures, fun experiences and hope. In the end, he would be living with someone who loves him dearly, right? With his mum.. Who spent the last 11 years living in the UK, so of course Sebastian would be safe and in the loving and nurturing care of his mother.
So in October 2020, Sebastian is reunited with his mum, in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, he is enrolled in school, registered to a doctor and even though Sebastian spoke very little English, very soon teachers at school were really impressed with him.
But then, 10 months later, Sebastian’s half sister, from Poland, Klaudia Zdyb, asks for help.
