Promoting folks rice of India as an alternative - rice that is organically grown, originally developped as heirloom varieties that can match or exceed commercial rice yields and needs NO FERTILISER & NO PESTICIDE, has been around for multiple thousands of years, but is being pushed to extinction because there is no money to be made by corporations.
I interview Dr. Anupam Paul, one of the most important persons in India that is trying to preserve the vanishing strains by re-introducing them to farmers and showing how they can be grown without commercial pesticides and fertilisers and how they can save their own seeds generation after generation without ever wanting to buy seeds from commercial firms, how their yield can match or beat commercial varieties and how they can still earn a living bypassing all the advertisements and pressure to stop growing these rice.
I know Anupam Paul for years and have personally visited places and seen his work. I have personally eaten many of these folk rice strains, with amazing qualities that sell in India at less than 1.5 dollar per Kg but do not get deserving recognition, even among afluent Indians who are culturally enslaved by the west. If a white man does not say this is good stuff, then it must be bad stuff.
I am involved in trying to raise awareness and create even a small demand market for such folk rice from India - here in North America.
We need people here interested to try this out so people in India will get interested in shipping it here.
This is a 39 minute video that explains the story of the struggle involving the near extinction and fight for survival of Indian folk rice.
It is uploaded on BitChute and Odysee and Rumble but not YouTube. I generally stay away from YouTube because they censor free speech.
