PLACES TO SEE IN PRAGUE | HISTORIC CITY OF CZECH REPUBLIC

We started our day from the Powder Tower which is close to the Municipal hall of Prague.
The next place where you can spend almost half of your day is the Old town square.
This Old town square will give a feeling of Historic European Town. Astronomical clock, St Nicolas Church, Old town hall and "the church of our lady before tyn" are the main attractions of this place.

The Astronomical clock rings each hour and displays 12 different catholic saints walking through the window of the clock, this is also called walk of apostles.
If you wish to have a look over the complete city, it will be a good idea to go up the old town tower. You will absolutely love the view from the top.
To get inside, you need to buy tickets which also includes entry to the museum on the first floor.
The church of our lady before tyn is one more place you can visit and you don't need to pay to get inside. St Nicholas church of old town Prague has beautiful architecture which you won't like to miss if you are near old town square.

Currency exchange: Within the city you will find many shops with boards displaying 0% commission for currency exchange, everyone will have different exchange rates and you can bargain with them to get best exchange rate.

After exchanging our currency, we found the hanging statue of Sigmund Freud. It is just above the street and this place is not much crowded during afternoon.
Wenceslas square is a combination of historic and modern architecture where you would love to spend your evening. At one end of Wenceslas square you will find the famous National Museum of Prague which displays historic and scientific collections.
Dancing House/Building is an example of creative architecture. If you have good imagination skills, this building will look like a couple dancing on some song.

If you wish to get a view of city along with the Prague Castle from the top, you can go to the Petrin tower which looks somewhat similar to Eiffel Tower. You can just go trekking up the mountain if you have more time or take the mini train. Just note that the last train down the hill is not till late evening.
The Petrin Tower is open until 7pm in the evening and you need to purchase a ticket to up. Hint: watch the video to know the price ;)

We didn't manage to book a show inside the National Theater in this visit. But we have the video taken from outside.
