Thoughts/Questions

1. What did the agent do well here? She has a horrible property to list…so bad that even in this market it’s not a slam dunk it sells. Go…get press.
2. Asking price of 590k, Realtor says house would sell for 700k fixed up.
3. 2018, the new tenant moved in…that was the mistake.
4. How did the contractor agree to do the work on the roof without the owner’s consent?
5. The tenant had become a menace in the neighborhood, with neighbors hiding to avoid her.
6. “the case remains open but is inactive. He said authorities have not been able to contact the former tenant or the property management company.” What? How can the police not been able to contact the former tenant or the property management company?
7. Insurance company did nothing, Authorities did nothing, property management company has disappeared…what is the point of all of this? Why pay for these services only to have them not be of any use when they are needed most?
8. I’m not pro landlord or pro tenant…but I think new landlords should have some idea of the encounters they will face, and I think tenants should be a little understanding when it comes to what might be considered heavy handed screening up front.
