Ghosts of Heroes (Re-Demo) - Ignation

We've re-uploaded this demo version of the current song we're working on, called "Ghosts of Heroes", with some changes to it's mix. There's still a lot that we'll be doing to this for the final version; changing some of the vocals & minor instrumental parts, re-recording parts, mixing effects, etc. But this is a preview of where we are so far.

This song is about how many artists pursue their art from a place of insecurity & past hurt, & they try to place their value & worth in what they accomplish & in their fame & love from an audience. But none of that actually ever fixes or heals that hurt, they often still end up feeling insecure & alone, so it often just leads into addictions, depression, & horrible habits that they accept as part of the cost for pursuing their art. They then develop fan bases that look up to them as heroes to help them with their own hurt, but in reality the artist needs help themselves.

The song is written from the perspective of the artist, singing out the thoughts & feelings driving him, & a voice of reason (Tiff's part) causing him to re-think his stances.

We are planning on releasing this & the similar themed "Vicarious Living" (https://youtu.be/LptG0xAURSY) as singles in these next coming months, where they will be available on all major streaming & music buying sites.
