First off: a welcome it’s great to be able to be with you this morning.
I did not sleep well. My mind was racing all over the place.
12th consecutive day of livestreaming.
So, the big news, I was under Audit from the Missouri Real Estate Commission…Came out through with a perfect score one of six
-Kind of scary
-Been hanging over my head for some time
So, I’ve been livestreaming and I’ve been putting out videos daily and my statistics are getting worse! Yesterday my impressions were worse than they’ve been in a long time. It’s kind of funny
I read an article about real estate reputation …it’s 2021, does anyone still use reputation anymore? And who? Do clients seek out someone with a “good reputation?” Do agents care if the agent on the other side has a “good reputation?” Not sure this is relevant anymore. I mean, people don’t just buy a house every year, they seem to be more spur of the moment than in previous time. Is this an outdated concept?
My social media post bombed. What did I do wrong? Was it not funny?
I saw an ad from a real estate marketing company saying that if you want to rake in the commissions you need to be on the first page of youtube. Does anyone realize how hard that is? Especially in a place like St. Louis. There are 90 different municipalities in the county alone….I’ve thought about this strategy, but the execution would be difficult.
Twitter cancellation. The game is to find a tweet from the past and then use it against someone now. I’ve always thought this sort of thing disingenuous. The reason: We only know today and some version of the past. We don’t know the future, and so when we write something it’s based on that moment. For example
If I tweet today that the real estate market is on fire for sellers…how will that tweet look when the market tanks someday?
I did see a news article that said that this is the best economy ever…do you really believe that? I’m interested…chat with me or leave a comment in the discussion panel below. I don’t feel like we are in a good place at all….but I’m sure it’s a matter of perspective.
We’ll talk about the following
A. Tips to protect yourself when showing your home? Or maybe better said, tips to protect yourself when you have home showings scheduled.
B. A truly boneheaded article about commissions written by some trade group that is anti real estate agent.
