So, we look at an article written by someone and see if we agree or disagree

Thoughts

1. Home buyers waiving the home inspection.
Sellers need to disclose….So I agree with this

2. Home buyers waiving the appraisal contingency
House might not close, seller can get the escrow money….I agree

3. Home buyers are racing to close a deal, so it’s possible sellers may not find another home before the house sells..
Put a contingency closing date if sellers can’t find a home…I disagree

My Own ways today’s seller market is Bad for home sellers

1. Inflated prices usually mean that you are buying less house for more money when you move.

2. It can be super stressful to sell your house in this market….while you might be getting a great deal, the offer could fall through. Whenever the house has to go back on market, there’s always a risk that the next sale price is lower.

3. Getting someone to repair items may take a long time because reputable contractors can be booked months in advance. So, you’ve agreed to make repairs and you have a difficult time getting contractors to come to your house in time for closing. This means that if you actually get someone out there in time, you are kind of at the mercy of their pricing structure.
