Clinch Mountain Backstep - Mount Nebo

The residents played tambourines as we performed "Clinch Mountain Backstep" a little short-handed tonight at The Stratford in Carmel, Indiana. Written by Ralph Stanley in 1958, the "backstep" of the title refers to the 2/4 measure added to the 4/4 bar in the second stanza. Special thanks to The Stratford for their hospitality, they put on quite a party!
