Cuddles with Banjo.
Banjo has gone from being the lead horse in a paddock of young horses to the bottom of the herd with the older mares. It's good for his development to learn horsey manners. He is so much calmer these days, he is rising 4. He was a yearling when we first got him.
I was reminiscing how it took a long time for Banjo to be comfortable with pats. The first time he was relaxed enough to play with me. he was licking my fingers and playing gently with my hand. That was how we became friends.
I have looked at selling him due to financial stress, but really do not want to. He's a darling soul and has a pretty relaxed life with us.
