Is mClassic All Hype? My Marseille mClassic Fell Apart - Does It Still Work?

I have made a lot of videos with the Marseille mClassic, but I recently pulled it out of my setup and it fell apart. It appears to be nothing more than the plastic shielding, but I was still surprised.

I have tested it with a wide variety of game consoles and find it at its best on the Dreamcast, PS2, GameCube and Wii.
