Letting People Break The Law Is Not An Answer To Racisim

In a surprise to no one with a brain, avoiding pulling people over for traffic infractions has nothing to do with race, it just means more people breaking the law. A new report released earlier this week by the Portland Police Bureau shows little progress in reducing racial disparities in traffic stops after Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler and Police Chief Chuck Lovell decided to no longer pull over motorists for minor infractions like broken taillights.
